Shopping My Stash

The two cards I've made this weekend feature some of the oldest things from my stash. I've managed to use some of the $1 bin glitter chipboard flowers and some other things I've not even seen in awhile. And I also went back to a SSS kit I hardly used for stamps and papers for both these cards. Awesomesauce.

First for Mojo Monday 342.

Second, for the Runway Inspired Challenge / CASE This Sketch combo.

Hope you enjoy!

Bright Spot of Cards

I think I have finally finished my Easter cards. And I managed to get another card done too. Pretty productive day!

This sketch is from Mojo Monday 340. Papers and stamps as before... Doodlebug and Lawn Fawn.

This is my first use of the stuff in the most recent Simon Says kit. I really like how this one came out! It occurred to me I could layer the sentiment if I stamped the lightbulb as light as possible. I think it really works. And no matter how nice your glitter paper is, glitter still gets everywhere. Sketch from Retro Sketches 109.

Easter Cards, round three.

Today I managed to get two made. Whoo-hoo! Considering I spent half the day asleep it is probably an accomplishment.

This is Deconstructed Sketch 146. I rotated it around and I made a fun rosette for the big circle. Can you tell I have only one Easter stamp set? You can barely see the light gray shading I did with my Spectrum Noirs. Papers are from Doodlebug.

This one is from Seize the Sketch #17. I had leftover sentiments that I test-stamped on vellum. I suppose, looking at it now, that I just could have stamped on the card. I made this mostly from scraps from my first two cards... pretty happy about that!

Easter Cards, round two!

I had this theory that I was going to make a bunch of Easter cards all in one day. Didn't happen. So I guess I'll be making them slowly. Papers from Doodlebug 'Springtime' and stamps from Lawn Fawn. Sketch from Clean & Simple 287. Enjoy!

Easter Cards, round one!

I have a major amount of Easter projects to get going on. This is only the first. If I make more today, I will come back and edit this post. That's the goal anyway...

First, one for the BF's mom using some supplies she just sent. A pack of blank 5x7 cards (of good quality, a rarity for packs I've noticed) and some pastel envelopes. Easter anyone? The stamp is from the favorite Lawn Fawn and the sketch is Mojo Monday 339. I attempted to make the rabbit look like he was jumping by shadow stamping him. I've never shadow stamped before. Does it work? Maybe? Kinda? Okay, okay. It's special...

Happy Easter by Amanda H with Lawn Fawn Mojo 339

The current Lawnscaping Challenge is to try something new! I did... I'm just not sure how I feel about it. Oh well!

Edited to add: This card was spotted by the Lawnscaping Challenge "Spotted and Hearted"" Patrol! Whoop whoop!

Timely cards are not my forte.

Lucky me, that I will get this birthday card out on time! Sketch is from Retro Sketches 108. Stamps are from Amuse Studio. My bf's sister has a thing for cats. I try to oblige.

Another fail on the timeline. This card was for CTS 70, and allllll I needed to do was glue it together before yesterday, but no. Nothing doing. <sigh.>

Sorry for the phone photos. One of these days I'll remember where I hid the camera.
